Filmmakers plan to make your masterpiece? Made a short film recently? Just want a chance to have your work seen? Read on!!
Here at Crowne Plaza Coogee Arts Festival, our primary aim is to make the arts, and those who work in them, as accessible as possible to the general public. In this case it's the Coogee and surrounding communities, but everyone's welcome. And, hopefully, we raise a little money for charity along the way.
Luckily for us, that means we get to work with filmmakers, providing an opportunity for them to expose their work to an adoring public. Do you need any other reason to enter? Try these:
Prizes, including cash prizes for first, second and third
Mix and network with those in the industry
Have your friends, family and those who helped make the film
See your work on the big screen
Did we mention the adoring public?
Entry Fee
To encourage entry to Stinkwater! (and to ease the burden a little on the filmmakers) we've decided to make entry into the Film Festival FREE!! (plus GST)

Closing date
Very important, this bit. The closing date for entry to the Stinkwater! International Short Film Festival is 19th February, 2008 at 5.00 p.m. Don't be late, your film will not be accepted, no matter how many drinks you buy us.
Send it in!
Last but not least, send us your film! Mail it (with your entry form) to:
Night Sky Productions
P.O. Box 591

Australia 2034
Make sure you include all your contact details, including your email address. If your film is selected to be screened on the finals night, we will contact you ASAP to discuss any screening issues.
Judging Format
After the closing date for receiving your film (5.00 p.m. on 19th February, 2008), all validly entered films will be viewed by various groups of regular film goers (your public) and a final selection of approximately 12 films (it may be more, it may be less) will make it to the screening night. You will be informed of being shortlisted, and if need be, you can send us a master copy of your film.
There are no individual categories of film. All films will be part of the one category and will judged on their merits. A few nights before the final screening night, the judges will gather to view the films (away from the influence of the screaming masses). The winners will be selected before the final screening night, but kept secret until the after the films are screened, when the prizes will be awarded.
