The Coogee Arts Festival – Terms of Sale

The following terms and conditions apply to all persons who purchase tickets to events as part of the Coogee Arts Festival. Please read them carefully.

1.0 Terms of Sale

1.1 Tickets sold by the Coogee Arts Festival are subject to the following terms and conditions:

1.2 All ticket sales are final and non-transferable. The Coogee Arts Festival does not provide refunds. Refunds and exchanges will not be made for inadvertently booking the wrong performance. Refunds will not be given for a cancellation or termination due to adverse weather conditions.

1.3 If a performance is cancelled or terminated by The Coogee Arts Festival due to adverse weather conditions, tickets will not be refunded. Cancellation is at the discretion of The Coogee Arts Festival Management and can be made prior to or during a performance. Tickets will be revalidated automatically to permit re-entry. Tickets must be intact. Revalidated tickets can be used to gain entry to any performance for the remainder of the season (subject to capacity)*. Entry is not guaranteed when using a revalidated ticket. The Coogee Arts Festival or its agents or partners may retain any service or booking fee it has charged on the original tickets. * Entry is not guaranteed.

1.4 In the event that a performance is cancelled by The Coogee Arts Festival, an announcement will be left on the voice recording line 9664 4234, and a notification will be posted on the home page of this website.

1.5 If a performance is cancelled or terminated due to a decision by the host venue or other occurrence outside of The Coogee Arts Festival’ direct control, The Coogee Arts Festival at its sole discretion may allow re-entry to another performance (subject to capacity)* upon presentation of intact tickets for the cancelled performance. The Coogee Arts Festival or its agents or partners may retain any service or booking fee it has charged. *Entry is not guaranteed.

1.6 If a performance is cancelled or terminated due to mechanical breakdown The Coogee Arts Festival will refund the face value of each ticket upon return to The Coogee Arts Festival of intact tickets. If a refund is made, The Coogee Arts Festival or its agents or partners may retain any service or booking fee it has charged.

1.7 Staff working at The Coogee Arts Festival sites are not able to provide refunds.

1.8 The Coogee Arts Festival reserves the right to add, withdraw, reschedule or substitute performance dates and to vary advertised prices, seating arrangements or audience capacity without notice.

1.9 Entry may be refused if tickets are damaged or defaced in any way or are not purchased from one of The Coogee Arts Festival’ authorized points of sale.

1.10 The Coogee Arts Festival reserves the right to charge patrons for the replacement of lost or damaged tickets.

1.11 Late arrival may result in non-admittance until a suitable time during the performance.

1.12 GST will apply to all goods and services supplied through this site.


2.0 Privacy and access

2.1 Any personal information that The Coogee Arts Festival collects from your use of this web site will be maintained in accordance with The Coogee Arts Festival’ privacy policy.

2.2 The Coogee Arts Festival may refuse access to this web site at any time in its sole discretion.


3.0 Variation

The Coogee Arts Festival reserves the right to vary the terms of sale at any time. Variations become effective upon posting on the web site. By making a purchase through this site after the terms and conditions have been varied you agree to be bound by the variation.
