The Crowne Plaza Coogee Arts Festival (an Incorporated Not-For-Profit Association) has grown from 8 nights of Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night” in 2004 to a month long celebration of theatre, music, film, community events and much more. We began, and continue to grow, creating an arts and cultural base open to all and fairly priced, celebrating the diversity that the Randwick area represents (and we’ve raised thousands of dollars for charities along the way). To date, we’ve done all this with the wonderful assistance of Randwick City Council, our sponsors, our extraordinary volunteers and our suportive audiences. We don’t receive any government funding.
We have wonderful plans to grow the festival further in 2009 and beyond, but we need your help. We have a target to raise $10,000.00 by the time the festival begins in Feb’ ’09 to help pay for more community events and artists fees, and with your support, it’s achievable. If you would like to assist by making a donation to the arts festival, find out how here. Then download the donation form here and be part of the growth of the major cultural event in your local area.
And don’t forget, donations to the Coogee Arts Festival over $2.00 are tax deductible. |
